zanzibar
it's a cold day, the rain came in a high volume and it's been raining quite a bit lately, the frogs are mate calling and my legs are cramping from the cold and it's making me want to snack unnecessarily. today made me think of zanzibar and the visit we made 5 years ago. couldn't help but fall for the simplicity and romance of nostalgia at every corner we turned. nabil and majid (pictures below) came to visit us along with their parents who are our dear friends, two weeks ago. they travelled 13 hours from zanzibar and brought together with them the swahili language that will be embedded in us for a while. majid, the one with the pacifier taught me shum shum which translates to kiss kiss.
